Honda Reconsiders “No Plug-In” Policy
Up until now, Honda has spurned the idea of producing a plug-in hybrid because of its belief that battery technology has not yet advanced enough to make such a car viable, and that hydrogen fuel cells hold more promise. That may change in the near future however, as a number of new US Government incentives have […] The Motor Report is Australia’s fastest growing auto website. Click through to read the full article.

Think you’ll be driving green? Not a chance, says BP
The same day President Obama announced large public investments in science , and in energy in particular, Honda’s hydrogen-powered FCX Clarity was given Green Car of the Year honors at the New York International Auto Show. You couldn’t ask for a much more convenient coincidence for where this is going. One of few stories about the win, on DomesticFuels.com, included this nugget: The judges credited the FCX Clarity for advancing hydrogen fuel-cell technology to the closest it’s been to main

Bold plan to launch hydrogen car revolution: Proposed tax incentives for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and hydrogen fueling stations
With oil prices set to spike once again when the global economy recovers (and peak oil looming), the hydrogen fueling infrastructure needs to be built as soon as possible. The world simply can’t afford to wait much longer. Daimler recently said hydrogen fuel cell vehicles would cost the same as hybrid vehicles beginning in 2013 or 2014 if 100,000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles were built per year. GM has said hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will cost the same as vehicles today once one million

Hydrogen Honda Green Car of the Year
All you’ll see coming out of its tailpipe is clean water vapor. It’s no wonder that Honda’s hydrogen-powered FCX Clarity picked up World Green Car of the Year honors at the recent New York Auto Show. This story from EcoGeek.org says it beat out 22 other competitors for the title: The judges credited the FCX Clarity for advancing hydrogen fuel-cell technology to the closest it’s been to mainstream success yet, but also stated that governments need to do more to create infrastructure that

H-ergo The Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Electric Wheelchair
This PPMV (Piemonte Personal Mobility Vehicle) is called the H-ergo. It’s a hydrogen fuel-cell wheelchair intended for indoor/outdoor use. It’s diminutive size makes it highly maneuverable and for such a small unit, it has some serious guts. Two 800W motors move the chair and can make velocities up to 12 miles per hour. With a full charge of hydrogen in its little tank, it will run for 2 hours solid. While that doesn’t sound like much, the average person in a wheelchair doesn’t actually
