California working to build more alternative fuel stations
Written on March 26, 2009 Energy Tribune reports that California is having difficulty building 150 to 200 alternative fueling stations in the state’s major highways. With less than 10 months until 2010, only 24 hydrogen fueling stations are operating in California. Retro roadster goes back to the future
Mercedes-Benz have designed a futuristic hydrogen fuel cell eco-roadster which is oddly retro. A team of 150 trainees spent a year developing the F-CELL Roadster concept - based on the Benz Patent Motorwagen of 1886, but using the latest technology. It features carbon-fiber seats, joystick controls and a 1.2 kilowatt fuel cell, oh yeah it’s also got old-school spoked wheels.
