Would You Be Better Off With A Hydrogen Car Kit?
by Garry Hooper HHO or hybrid hydrogen oxygen is gaining much popularity these days. With the ever-increasing gas prices, several home and car owners are getting more interested to know details of hydrogen fuel systems and how it works. You too are probably curious how cars can run using hydrogen as the fuel? All your queries would be put to rest as you stay reading. Some of the most frequent questions being asked by people are: 1. Italian research teams examines ethanol-to-hydrogen fuel cell system
In Italy, researchers at the University of Milano are testing an ethanol-powered GH2-5000 Energy System fuel cell made by Helbio and Exergy Fuel Systems , that produces five KW of electrical energy and five KW of heat energy. The fuel cell converts ethanol to hydrogen via a catalyst and steam reformation, with the resulting hydrogen delivered into the fuel cell. is first converted to hydrogen using steam reformation and a catalyst within a reactor. The hydrogen is then fed to the fuel cell.T
Daimler will begin limited production of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles this summer and plans to sell 100,000 per year beginning in 2013 or 2014 at a price comparable with their hybrid vehicles
(Note: To learn more about how hydrogen will solve the oil crisis, please read the following article titled Frequently asked questions about hydrogen fuel cell cars .)
